Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Mackinac County, Michigan. The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 4+ years on the tools preferred.
