Concrete labourer • DuPage County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in DuPage County, Illinois. The job is on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred.
