Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage On a typical shift you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer.
