Urgent requirement: overlocker operator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Montgomery County, North Carolina. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 4+ years on the tools preferred.
