Stitching operator wanted in South Ayrshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
