Domestic gas engineer — Elliott County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Elliott County, Kentucky. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
