Sample machinist wanted in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
