Slinger signaller — Lancaster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Lancaster County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
