Aluminium tig welder wanted in Zapata County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Zapata County, Texas. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
