GTAW welder wanted in Cass County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Cass County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
