Stainless steel welder • Kimball County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kimball County, Nebraska. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
