Gas metal arc welder — Gezawa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Gezawa, Kano State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
