Restoration bricklayer • Lake County, Montana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Lake County, Montana. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
