Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Yolo County, California. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
