Scaffolder • City of Newport News, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolder in City of Newport News, Virginia. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards You will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
