Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Borough of Swindon, England. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork You will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
