Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Bedford County, Tennessee. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On the job you will handle: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
