Formwork erector — Spalding County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Spalding County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
