Bar bender and fixer wanted in Larmurde

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Larmurde, Adamawa State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Full-time with occasional weekends.
