EHS coordinator wanted in Ohimini

We are recruiting: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Ohimini, Benue State. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
