Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Costilla County, Colorado. Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
