The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
