Gas service engineer — Montrose County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Montrose County, Colorado. Day to day you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 4+ years on the tools preferred.
