Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Olmsted County, Minnesota. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
