Body shop technician — City of Petersburg

Join our team: we are hiring a body shop technician in City of Petersburg, Virginia. You will measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. What we are looking for: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 3+ years on the tools preferred.
