Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
