Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Young County, Texas. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
