Aluminium TIG welder • Wayne County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Wayne County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
