Coating plant operator — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Washington County, Vermont. You will work at a powder coating unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms The role involves apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well.
