Your main tasks: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints Requirements: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
