Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Webster County, Georgia. The job is at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 5+ years on the tools preferred.
