Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Crittenden County, Arkansas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
