Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Reeves County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
