Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Botetourt County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Day-to-day duties: • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls Full-time with occasional weekends.
