We are recruiting: aluminium TIG welder (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
