What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
