Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Tioga County, New York. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
