You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
