You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
