Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Grundy County, Missouri. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Your main tasks: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
