Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
