Machinist wanted in Andoni

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Andoni, Rivers State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
