We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Kent County, Maryland. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 3+ years on the tools preferred.
