Pipe TIG welder — Columbia County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Columbia County, Georgia. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
