Immediate opening: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
