Overlocker operator — Hamilton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Hamilton County, New York. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
