Argon welder — Martin County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Martin County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
