Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Hill County, Texas. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 6+ years on the tools preferred.
