Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Santa Barbara County, California. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
