GTAW welder wanted in Phillips County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Phillips County, Colorado. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
